Alex Jones, founder|creative director is a Juilliard dance alum, former visiting scholar at Stanford, and creative director working at the intersection of arts, design, and innovation. He has held creative leadership and innovation roles at several Bay Area arts organizations and has taught and lectured in creativity at institutions such as CIIS, the University of San Francisco, and UC Berkeley. His creative work spans dance, theatre, design, and music, where he’s been awarded multiple honors. in 2025 he created Famine, a multimedia dance-theatre work presented as part of Juilliard’s Future Stages Festival. He founded Margin in 2022.
Neeraj Sonalkar, Venture Advisor co-founded the human capital formation program at Stanford University, where he is an Adjunct Lecturer. Previously, Neeraj was the Executive Director of Human Innovation Design in the DesignX group at Stanford University, where he led research funded by the National Science Foundation on high-performance teams. He also co-founded accelerators for high-potential founders in Nigeria and India.
Bob Roe, Venture Advisor is the VP of Narrative Development at Sozo Ventures. He is an experienced journalist and editor who has worked for and led in some of the biggest media companies in the U.S. He started in magazines, but also ran a large, news-based website, and has edited both fiction and non-fiction books for several major publishers.
Max Woertendyke, Studio Team is an award-winning producer and Founder of Noble Gas Media. A native New Yorker and Juilliard-trained actor, he has built a career as a trusted collaborator, shepherding projects from initial concept through final delivery with a focus on bold, high-quality storytelling. His work includes BRIGHTWOOD, MILQUETOAST, REAL LIVE GIRL, and the documentary WOMAN IN THE SKY, and he is a recipient of the Juilliard Career Advancement Fellowship and the Jonathan Madrigano Entrepreneurship Grant.
Kaylin Maggard, Studio Team is a Juilliard graduate and current Rehearsal Assistant for the school’s Dance Division. She is a versatile artist experienced in live theater, choreography, and improvisation. Her work is deeply informed by an interest in psychology, focusing on the profound ways the mind and body integrate to shape physical expression.
